Kyoto

In our visit to Kyoto in summer of 2009, we went to this Temple that has two of the largest wooden temples in the world. One has a monumental canopy structure over it for restoration. It took a year just to build this "canopy" structure. --Gabe and Anne

Trees in Venice

I recently visited Venice ,Italy for the first time. After about 2 days, it began to get under my skin. Then I realized what it was. There are very few trees! You have to trek to gardens to find them. It just seemed odd, and kind of sad.
